Publisher and relationships
Slate Intelligence is the publisher. Nathan Allen Pirtle is its founder. Stories about Slate or associated work must disclose that relationship. Relevant commercial interests, sponsorship and affiliate relationships must be made clear to readers.
News, analysis and announcements
News states verified developments. Analysis and opinion interpret events and are labeled accordingly. Company announcements are first-party communications. External headlines in the private Intelligence Wire remain third-party research references, not original Slate reporting.
Sources and accuracy
Use original writing, accurate bylines and links to supporting sources. Distinguish the event date from the article’s publication date. Do not invent quotations, achievements, partnerships or reporting access. Unverified drafts must not be presented as established fact.
Editorial review
Factual claims require supporting evidence and editorial review. Commentary is distinguished from reporting, and publication relationships are disclosed.
Dates and corrections
Keep the original publication date. Significant updates should display a revised date and an explanation; substantive corrections should identify what changed. Do not refresh dates solely to make old material appear new.
Original publication and affiliated websites
Publish the full article at one original canonical URL. Affiliated sites may link to it with a distinct short summary. Do not duplicate full articles to imply multiple independent reports.
